Leicestershire has been one of the busiest areas for new housing in the East Midlands, and we cover the city and county from our Staffordshire base, delivering substructure brickwork for groundworkers and superstructure brickwork on housing growth sites and commercial schemes. You can appoint us labour only; for labour, mortar, sundries and fuel; or for full supply and fit. Established in 2018, we have 100 bricklayers and hold Constructionline Gold and CHAS Advanced.
Before you appoint: what to check, and how we answer it
Can you resource it? We have 100 bricklayers across the Midlands. Gangs are allocated to the plots you release and built up as the programme moves, rather than spread thinly across too many sites. Who’s in charge on site? Every package has a named supervisor who stays with it. They keep daily site logs, coordinate materials call-off with your site team and agree scaffold interfaces lift by lift. How is quality checked? Through recorded checks during the work, not only at the end. Residential brickwork is carried out in line with NHBC Standards, and snags are closed out promptly so plots can move on to the next trade. Will you pass pre-qualification? Yes. We hold Constructionline Gold and CHAS Advanced, our operatives carry valid CSCS cards, and RAMS and inductions are standard. Can the scope be split? Yes. Groundworkers can appoint us for substructure brickwork and blockwork up to DPC on its own, and housebuilders can appoint us for the superstructure. Or we can deliver both.
Consistency over long programmes
Large Leicestershire growth sites can run for years, with phase after phase released and house types repeated many times over. The risk on these jobs isn't one bad plot. It's gradual drift: brick batches that don't quite match, gauge that creeps between phases, or details built slightly differently by different gangs.
We manage that by keeping the same supervisor on a site wherever possible, blending bricks from several packs as we lay, checking gauge and setting out against the drawings on every plot, and recording how standard details have been built so later phases match earlier ones. When a housebuilder changes a specification between phases, we confirm the change in writing before it reaches the scaffold.

Our office is in Dunston, Stafford, off the M6, and Leicestershire is reached via the motorway network or the A50. Leicester packages are planned with that journey in mind: a dedicated supervisor, gangs allocated to the job, regular management visits and travel included in our price.
