The Vicarage and Povey Road are typical of the apartment schemes that continue to come forward around Warrington town centre and its suburbs. These are brick-faced blocks of several storeys, often on tight plots. We plan materials call-off, scaffold lifts and gang sizes around the frame programme, review wall-tie, brick-support and movement-joint details at tender stage, and keep coursing and mortar colour consistent across every elevation. Each package has a named supervisor who keeps daily site logs and records quality checks for the main contractor and warranty inspector.

Lea Green station showed a different side of our work. On infrastructure and commercial projects the brickwork is one package among many, and the main contractor needs a bricklaying subcontractor who follows site rules, works to permits and access windows, and keeps clear communication with the wider project team. Housing growth and substructure
