Consistency across phases
- Same supervisor where possible. One named supervisor stays with the site, so standards and knowledge carry through from phase to phase.
- Brick blending. We blend bricks from several packs as we lay, so elevations don’t show banding between deliveries.
- Gauge and setting out. Gauge, perpends and setting out are checked against the drawings on every plot. Window and door openings line through, and coursing works with the house type.
- Recorded standard details. We record how standard details have been built, such as cavity trays, weep vents, lintels, soldier courses and corner details, so later phases match.
Built to NHBC Standards, recorded plot by plot
We build in line with NHBC Standards on NHBC-registered homes and to LABC requirements where they apply. Each plot’s quality checks are recorded as it’s built, and daily site logs and progress reports are shared with the site manager. When a warranty inspector visits, the information is already there. Snags are closed out promptly so plots can move on to roofers, scaffold strike and the internal trades. How we price housing packages
We offer three service options, agreed at tender:- Labour only
- Labour, mortar, sundries and fuel
- Full supply and fit
Private, affordable and bespoke
Private sale housing: detached, semi-detached and terraced house types with facing brickwork, feature details and garages. Affordable and social housing: we work to the registered provider’s specification and the housebuilder’s programme. Our completed KMM Homes scheme in Rochdale is one example. Bespoke and high-specification homes: individual homes where the architect’s detailing and finish are closely scrutinised. We’re currently building the Cheshire Superhome – Noble Project.Substructure too
If you’d rather have one bricklaying contractor from footings to roof plate, we can also deliver the substructure brickwork and blockwork up to DPC. Alternatively, we can work for your groundworker on that stage. See substructure brickwork for groundworkers.

Do you work for volume housebuilders?
Yes. We deliver superstructure brickwork for housebuilders on phased developments, and we’ve worked with housebuilders including Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes.
How do you keep brickwork consistent across phases?

Can you increase labour when plots are released?
Yes. We plan labour against your programme and can add gangs from our team of 100 bricklayers when plots are released.
Do you work on affordable housing?
Yes. Our completed projects include KMM Homes social housing in Rochdale, and we work to the registered provider’s specification.
