Vanguard Masonry is a bricklaying contractor in Shrewsbury and across Shropshire for housebuilders, main contractors and groundworkers. We build panels to the approved specification, set out carefully so coursing lines through at openings, and agree access and deliveries with the main contractor on restricted town-centre sites.

Groundworkers on Shropshire housing sites can appoint us for substructure brickwork and blockwork up to DPC as a standalone package. Our gangs work to the groundworks sequence and follow the footing design plot by plot, so the oversite and slab programme isn’t held up.

Alongside housing, we deliver brickwork for care homes, schools and SEND facilities, and commercial and agricultural-industrial buildings across Shropshire. On these projects a main contractor usually wants one brickwork package, a consistent gang and a supervisor who attends progress meetings. That's how we work, with RAMS, inductions and reporting set up to suit the main contractor's systems.
