Vanguard Masonry is a bricklaying contractor based in Staffordshire, at Dunston just south of Stafford, by junction 13 of the M6. How we run a Staffordshire package
Every package follows the same five steps, so your site team knows what to expect from the pre-start meeting to handover.
- Pre-start review. Before we mobilise, we go through the drawings, specification, programme, site access and scaffold with your team, and raise detailing or sequencing questions then rather than on the scaffold.
- Mobilisation. Gangs are briefed on your site standards, and RAMS and inductions are completed before work starts. Our operatives carry valid CSCS cards.
- Plot delivery. Labour is planned against your programme, and the named supervisor keeps daily site logs so you can see progress at a glance.
- Quality checks. Work is checked as it goes up, with attention to ties, cavity trays, cavity cleanliness and the NHBC or LABC requirements that apply.
- Clean handover. Snags are closed out, and plots are handed over clean and ready for inspection and the following trades.
